The 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham protected designation “Jabugo Ham”, “Summum” quality, from the “Manchado de Jabugo” breed recovers unknown flavors and textures for current generations.
Animals live freely in a privileged environment, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
The purity of the breed, its slow growth, its rusticity, the privileged nutrition and the maturation of the hams in a cellar for up to six years, give them exceptional flavors and aromas.
The Spanish ham “Manchado de Jabugo” from “Dehesa Maladúa” received in Nuremberg (Germany) in 2016 the prize for the best product of Biofach, which is the main fair of organic products in the world. An award that came thanks to the notoriety of this family business committed to the preservation of the “Manchado de Jabugo” breed, threatened by extinction, as well as by the sustainable development of this unique Spanish ham.
Its price to the public is 4,100 Euros, per unit.
